Even as an adult there is just something about that phone call that says, "NO SCHOOL". A surprise day off is fun for all! Yes, we know we do have to make them up as many may say. However, getting a surprise call is always worth an extra day in May. A day off...being at home as a family, staying in pajamas, snuggled up with a blanket, watching it snow, playing in the snow, warm hot cocoa, no schedules, and movies, all make the day complete! This time around we had 2 days off due to road conditions and bitter cold temperatures. It extended our Christmas vacation by 2 days. ALL is GOOD! Despite the wintry weather, Adam and the kids took part in snow day fun!
